Taxes and Democracy

Our October General Meeting will include Vanessa Williamson, Senior Fellow at the Brookings Institute and author of The Price of Democracy, who will speak on the history of taxation and the billionaire tax proposal. (Check out Ms. Williamson's appearance on Heather Cox Richardson's American Conversations and her recent discussion with Paul Krugman.)
