Pledge to Uphold Free and Democratic Elections
We believe in the freedom to vote and the peaceful transfer of power. Every eligible voter should be permitted to vote in our elections, and every vote should be counted. But the election is not over until the results are certified and all winners are seated.
We know that Trump and his enablers plan to try to sabotage the midterm elections to retain absolute power, deny the will of the voters and avoid accountability.
If they do, we will need to unite with others across the nation in massive numbers as long as necessary until the will of the voters is respected: protesting peacefully (No Kings-style), calling on our members of Congress and other public officials to do their jobs, asking business and faith leaders and other pillars in the community to speak out publicly, and if called for, engaging in economic noncooperation (no work, no school, no shopping).
Indivisible National, the No Kings coalition, and others will make the decision about when the RED LINE has been crossed. When they do, we must be ready to take action.
